Privacy Policy - LinkFactory

        Privacy First: LinkFactory is designed to be fully local. We do not track you, and we do not have a server. Your data stays on your device.
    

1. Data Collection

LinkFactory only collects the data you explicitly choose to save:

Website URLs (that you save via the 'Add' button or Context Menu).
Custom Tags associated with those URLs.

2. Data Storage

All saved data is stored locally within your browser using the chrome.storage.local API. We do not transmit this data to any external servers, third parties, or advertisers.

3. User Control & Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete individual links or clear your entire database at any time using the built-in management tools in the extension popup. Once deleted, this data is removed permanently from your device.

4. Export/Import

The Export and Import functionalities are provided for your convenience to move data between devices. When you export, a JSON file is created locally on your machine. We never see or touch this file.
